Description: Learn how to unmix components in SpectraLayers, using the SpectraLayers audio editor’s ARA2 integration. ARA mode in Cubase lets you use all the audio cleaning and sonic deconstruction in SpectraLayers, without leaving the DAW. The video takes a Cubase beat loop and shows how to split the beats into layers, using the unmix components algorithm. You can audition the resulting tonal, transient and noise layers individually, then make and save very precise audio selections, before working more with them, deleting artifacts and moving elements to new layers. Finally you can drag and drop your layers in SpectraLayers back into Cubase for remixing and any further processing.
